We always ensure that stocks of maintenance spare parts are stored at our regional stores and available for use as and when required. GECO has one main store located in Sharjah Head office which is spread across an area of 5000 Ft2 where we always maintain stocks of commonly used spares such as compressors, motors, thermostats, water heaters, plugs, switches etc. for A/C, Plumbing & Electrical services. In addition, we have satellite stores spread all across the U.A.E. on various sites which maintain minimum stock of these items.

GECOFM has a state of the art, 24 Hr easy to reach dedicated Helpdesk with a Toll Free number – 800 432636 (800 GECOFM) which can be contacted 24/7 to serve all your maintenance needs. The Help Desk facility allows all clients and visitors to raise work requests quickly.

GECO also has its own state-of-the-art Motor rewinding workshop with all amenities helping to reduce time delay for compressor stator, fan motor & water pump motor repair works

Reactive Call Handling:

  • GECO recognizes that limiting damage to your property from unplanned faults is paramount. Therefore GECO will provide a 24hour, 7 days a week, 365(6) days a year; Help Desk and emergency call out facility in order to respond to all incidents as they occur.
  • GECO has an easy to reach dedicated Helpdesk Toll Free number – 800 432636 (800 GECOFM) which can be contacted during duty hours and our designated zone supervisors can be contacted directly after duty hours to serve all your maintenance needs.
  • The Help Desk facility will allow all customers, clients, tenants and visitors to raise work requests quickly.
  • GECO propose that all contract staff on site will be the initial first point of contact. We will initiate procedures and systems that will record and manage all faults. This will include providing all staff with clear instructions on which relevant technician should be called, (e.g. No Air Conditioning – MEP Supervisor/Engineer). Our Facilities Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all these calls are followed through to completion and to the satisfaction of the customer/client.
  • GECO’s staff are encouraged and empowered to identify and deal with reactive tasks before they are reported.

GECO FM utilizes maintenance techniques to achieve the key objectives of delivering an efficient service that supports daily operations, whilst causing the least possible disruption to the tenants, visitors and staff, as well as optimizing building asset efficiency. Our techniques use a combination of the following proven FM maintenance methodologies:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): All PPM is being carried out in line with industry best practice and Manufacturers Recommendations as per O&M manuals. Almost all of the common tasks is being carried out by the on-site staff under the Supervision of the Site Supervisor. More technically challenging tasks are completed by additional staff as the PPM regime requires
  • Reactive Repairs Maintenance (RRM): Daily reactive tasks are being handled by the on-site team who are technically competent for first time fix and handling any fast response item to make safe as a standard.
  • Specialist Maintenance on required Assets through use of specialist contractors: Specialist support Contractors are in place to ensure statutory compliance, on-call and certified maintenance as required on some installed systems such as fire systems, elevators, BMS etc.
