**Role:** Safety Officer

**Responsibilities:**

  • Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations on construction sites.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct safety training sessions for workers and site personnel.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and provide detailed reports.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to enhance safety performance.
  • Participate in safety meetings and communicate safety updates to the project team.
  • Ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers.

**Requirements:**

  • Relevant degree or certification in occupational health and safety.
  • Proven experience as a Safety Officer in a construction or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct safety training and awareness programs.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety risks.
  • Familiarity with incident investigation and reporting procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to promote a safety culture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
